How We Define DE&I
The DE&I Council at ABD works as a steering committee to help make sure we are attracting, motivating, and retaining team members from diverse backgrounds while bringing diverse thought and leadership to our company.
The DE&I Council works to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging where all members of The ABD Team feel they are treated fairly, respected, and represented. They strive for all employees to have a healthy work and personal life balance and are empowered to excel, as they are, in their respective careers.

Women today face the challenge of being over mentored, yet under sponsored. ABD is on a mission to create an inclusive culture that facilitates the advancement and sponsorship of ALL women within our organization, while enabling women to be their most authentic selves at ABD.
The ABD Team gains tools to be an authentic LGBTQ+ ally
The conversational and inspiring “Over the Rainbow” event is open and honest - digging into polices that affect the LGBTQ+ community, providing tools to help navigate becoming an authentic LGBTQ+ ally at the workplace and in the community.
Employee Resource Groups
An Employee Resource Group (ERG) is a group of employees who identify with others like themselves.
This may include race, gender, age, sexual orientation, working parents, functional level, disability, veterans, etc. The group comes together and actively engages and gathers around a unifying mission.
At ABD, we have six ERGs that provide support and community for our employees.
DE&I to me is: Helping everyone, despite our perceived differences and upbringing, feel like they belong.
DE&I to me is: Empowered women empower women.
